Much ado about nothing

Well it's one more day till the end of the week! Whooo hoooo.  Oh did I tell you  my Copics are in??  Ok so now all I have to do is figure out how to use them.  I've been playing and discovered something really important...I have to wear my GLASSES!!  Apparently the "bleeding" of the markers has nothing to do with the markers or paper.  It's me not staying in the lines!! Ha!  Then yesterday day my husband called to see what I was up to for the day and here is our conversation
Kirk-hi honey, so what are your plans for today?
Me-not much mostly just colouring.
Kirk-you know it's a good thing I know what you mean or I would have said "don't you think your a little to old for to be colouring"?

Hahahahaha anyone else would have pictured me sitting at home with my crayons and colouring books instead of my Copics and cards!

Ok now for the fun stuff...cards!!!  Here are some cards using the new digi's from Whimsie Doodles.  First here's Olive and Toasty.  Aren't they cute??

And well I know Thanksgiving is over for us Canadian girls but not for anyone else so here's a card using the new digi Get Stuffed.  That poor turkey looks like I did, all bloated and stuffed to me ears with Thanksgiving dinner. Ha!  But I'd do it again and again!

Did you Gnome I have another card for you?

hahahahaha!  Sorry about that but I couldn't resist!  Kelly you are so right, my idea of minimal is well not so limited.  But I am trying!!!  The Gnomes from Whiff of Joy are just so adorable I`m trying to keep the focus on the image and not the card.  Ok so for this card I tried to not use pattern paper, strickly cardstock!  Sooooo I made my own background using the new Swirls stamps from Whiff of Joy.  Ok so I kinda cheated!  Hehe!  But hey I did stick to my plans!
So without further ado here is Wee and christmas tree.

Gnomes they are adorable!

Good morning readers!  Today's card is my attempt at minamizing my card techniques.  (I'm attempting to make a card with minimal stuff).  I don't know about you but I find that my cards look really different on "film" then in person.  So when I made this card I had to step away and snap a photo to see if I was ok with the result.  Today's card was made using a new series of stamps from Whiff of Joy.  They are Gnomes!!  And here I was calling them elves!!  Well they are adorable and I love colouring them.  Come to think of it Whiff of Joy now has images that are touching and sweet to whimsical and cute.  I'm so glad my "job" is playing with these stamps!

Snowflake mania

Goodmorning everyone!  Today is going to be a great day!  Why?  Well when it starts off with your husband asking where your 50% coupon for Micaels well I don't think it gets any better than this!!  Well maybe if I had 2 coupons!  So I'll just patiently await my new large snowflake punch and keeping my fingers crossed that he finds someone who will help find what I want.....Sigh!
So if all goes well I will have another snowflake to my collection!    Here are some cards I made using digi stamps from Whimsie Doodles and yep they all have snowflakes on them!!

WOJ Sneak Peek

Oh the cutest new designs for Whiff of Joy are coming Oct 31st.  If you love little elves and their whimsical charm your gonna love the new rubber stamps.
I thought I'd dig out my Prisma colouring and Gamsol for this card.  I stamped the image on Kraft cardstock and attached it to a Kraft card.  See I was trying to make a card using as little "supplies" as I could.

The sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs it says "There's no place like home for the holidays".
